Consultation
Consultation
1. In-person consultation A clinical examination is required before final surgical recommendations. Please bring relevant medical records, imaging and a complete list of medications and supplements.
2. Virtual consultation Send clear photographs together with your age, medical history, current medications, allergies, smoking status, previous surgery or injectable treatments, and the changes you would like to discuss. A WhatsApp video consultation may be arranged when additional assessment is needed. After the preliminary plan and written quotation are reviewed, the surgical date can be reserved with the required deposit and confirmed travel details. International patients generally arrive in Yerevan before surgery for examination and preoperative testing. The recommended stay is individualized; many patients remain for approximately 7–10 days for postoperative follow-up.
Recommendations before and after surgery
Before surgery Follow the personalized instructions provided after your medical review. Do not stop prescribed medication unless specifically instructed by the surgeon or anesthesiologist. Inform the team about all medicines, supplements, allergies and medical conditions. Smoking and nicotine increase healing risk, and an appropriate cessation period will be discussed. Unless instructed otherwise, stop eating at 8:00 PM and stop liquids at 11:00 PM the night before surgery. Arrive without makeup, contact lenses, jewelry or valuables, and wear comfortable clothing suitable for the procedure. After surgery Recovery instructions differ by procedure. Take only prescribed medication, attend scheduled reviews and contact the medical team promptly for heavy bleeding, worsening one-sided swelling, breathing difficulty, chest pain, persistent fever or any unexpected deterioration. Procedure-specific wound, splint, garment and activity instructions will be provided in writing.
Information on payment
Surgery pricing A written quotation is provided after assessment because the operation, hospital requirements and additional procedures vary between patients. The quotation explains what is included and its period of validity. Reserving a date A 10% deposit and confirmed travel booking are required to reserve a surgical date. Deposit and rescheduling terms are provided in writing before payment. Final payment and inclusions The remaining balance, accepted payment methods and payment schedule are confirmed by the patient coordinator. Depending on the agreed package, the quotation may include hospital fees, anesthesia, preoperative testing, medication, accommodation and airport transfer. Only the items listed in the written quotation are included.
Individual planning, realistic expectations and attentive follow-up are central to every surgical consultation.
